I pick up my camera to find the beauty in the simplest moments

I have majored in Business from the City University of New York. I became a business professional within my major. But, I've always had a dream that I wanted to fulfill ever since I was in school - I wanted to be a photographer! I have been doing photography for 12 years now. I love taking pictures and capturing moments. Every single picture that I took during special moments, still gives me a touch of joy and happiness, helps me go back to those exact moments. I was born and raised in Vancouver, so I have a separate passion for photographing streets and architecture.

Sneaking in pictures of my friends when in their element is an old hobby of mine, so portraiture is like second nature to me.

I always wanted to get professional portraits, but couldn’t shake the feeling that I’d be too awkward and shy for anything good to come out of it. I heard about Abdullah from some mutual friends, and decided to give it a try. I am very glad I did, because I felt extremely comfortable during the whole process! He really did manage to catch “me” through the camera, with hardly any effort necessary on my part.
